Summary of Works
Engaged with Managing Director to develop the EYEMINE brand and visual style guide from scratch. Deliverables were the corporate logo, slogan development, product and service logos, colours, typography, and visual elements; applied across print and digital collateral; such as corporate stationery, brochures, Microsoft Office templates, website, motion graphics and more).
Lead design and developer of the EYEMINE Website. Responsible for on-going maintenance and technical support. Website was revamped in April 2024 from its first iteration being a 'one-page site' in mid-2022. Due to growth of the business with 7 brand new products and services, implemented new UI and UX systems to cater a now full-fledged website.
Lead UI Designer for the EYEMINE Customer Dashboard. Assisted in simplifying complex engineering data into visually appealing widgets for the purpose of accurate reading by Mine Operators. Used Air Traffic Control designs as the source of inspiration, and as part of the requirement that operators would be viewing the data for long periods of time. Collaborated with a third-party SaaS technology company to implement the UI into the software by supplying the appropriate digital assets.
Working closely with the Managing Director, EYEMINE wanted to be perceived as an IoT (Internet-of-Things) focussed, mining engineering technology company. During the initial phase of the brand development, the client wanted to express "real-time data" through the use of honeycombs. I took on the element and entertained the idea of creating an "eye-shaped" logo, using basic shapes to produce the Iris and Pupil that fulfilled the honeycomb requirement, and give it the 'tech' look and feel. My design inspiration came from the CryEngine brand.
In November 2023, 6 product and service logos were developed whilst maintaining brand consistency and differentiation of the corporate logo.
One week before launch, the client requested two posts for social media:
(i) teaser static image of the new website, (ii) an animated launch video of the website.
Animation: A conceptual intro for EYEMINE corporate videos which unfortunately got cancelled and was never used.
